Edmond Hamilton (November 21, 1904 - February 1 1977) began writing science fiction with the story "The Monster God of Mamurth" in 1928. He quickly progress from either writing Weird Tales style horror to writing space opera, a sub-genre he created along with E.E. "Doc" Smith. He wrote applying many pseudonyms and, in the 1950s, was a primary inflict behind the Captain Future franchise.
In the mid 1940s, Hamilton became a writer for DC Comics' Superman title. One of his better known Superman stories was "Superman Under the Red Sun" which appeared in Action Comics #30Around 1963 and which has numerous elements around green by using his novel ''The City at World's End'' (1951). Within 1946, he married fellow science fiction author and screen writer Leigh Brackett.
